The White Horse Inn is situated in the beautiful quiet village of Whitwell. It is a pleasant peaceful country free house serving a wide selection of real ales and home cooked food. In the summer months these can be enjoyed outside in the attractive beer garden. In the winter, an old fashioned log fire provides a warm atmosphere in the bar. Food is served lunchtimes and evenings, with menus for traditional meals or snacks, as well as daily 'specials' and puddings.

We use fresh local produce such as free range Godshill eggs, duck, pigeon, pheasant, Isle of Wight pork and lamb, fresh fish supplied from Ventnor Haven Fisheries. All our steaks are full flavoured British beef and can be accompanied by a full range of our homemade sauces. Come try the “Allwight Ploughman's” where everything on the platter is in-season Island produce including the award winning Isle of Wight blue (Best English Cheese in World cheese awards) .
